Join us for the next Berlin edition of Hacks/Hackers!
Jacopo Ottaviani will talk about Generation E, the first cross-border data-journalism project on youth migration in Southern Europe. Four journalists from Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal are running a coordinated data investigation and a crowdsourcing campaign to collect stories of young migrants, to be published on multiple media platforms in different languages. CORRECTIV is currently supporting the project.
CORRECTIV-reporter Daniel Drepper will talk a little about our new fellowship cooperation with the Rudolf-Augstein-Stiftung. The two-month fellowship is focused on investigative data-journalism and will be based in Berlin. The next application deadline is December 15th, 2014.
Also: Jens Ohlig about Wikidata, Stefan Candea on some amazing projects happening in Romania, and Daniel Gona about Design Thinking.
Hacks/Hackers is a rapidly expanding international grassroots journalism organization with dozens of chapters and thousands of members across four continents. Its mission is to create a network of journalists („hacks“) and technologists („hackers“) who rethink the future of news and information.
