CORRECTIV.Exile

CORRECTIV.Exile envisions a future where exiled media professionals and journalists are empowered to participate actively in democratic processes, advocating for reform and positive change both within and outside Europe. We aim to create a community-driven space that recognizes the vital role of exiled communities in shaping democratic ideals and fostering social cohesion.

Mission

Our mission is to provide tailored support to exiled media communities, empowering them to integrate into host communities while amplifying their voices and advocating for democratic change. We strive to foster a sense of belonging and agency among exiled journalists, media professionals, and activists through collaboration, professional development, and collective action.

A Platform for Thriving

At CORRECTIV.Exile, we are dedicated to empowering individuals to thrive in their new circumstances. Through support, guidance, and the provision of platforms, we enable exiled communities to generate income independently and amplify their voices globally. We aim to nurture resilience and lasting success within these communities, ensuring their voices are heard and recognized.

Expanded Support

The need to support exiled journalists, activists, and individuals has never been more urgent. With increasing threats to freedom of speech and safety worldwide, many individuals seek refuge in Western countries like Germany. By expanding our exile program, we can support those facing integration challenges and empower them to advocate for democratic change.

Events

In cooperation with our exile project and networks of experts and trainers, we offer courses focusing on community-oriented media models. Additionally, we organize events for exile communities, including meet-ups and discussions. Together, we aim to support dialogue within the media landscape.

“Aggressor Russia: What does Russian civil society do?”

On February 14th, we hosted a panel discussion on Russian Aggression and Civil Society at Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin, attracting 139 participants. The panel discussion was titled “Aggressor Russland: Was macht die russische Zivilgesellschaft?” and was conducted with simultaneous German-Russian translation.

Exile Media

CORRECTIV.Exile aims to empower exiled media professionals and journalists to actively participate in democratic reforms, creating a collaborative community that values their vital role in shaping democratic ideals and enhancing social cohesion.
